The Hass Avocado stands out for it's creamy, nutty flavour and excellent shelf life. It's skin turns from green to black when ripe, making it easy to determine ripeness. Being a type 'A', it self-pollinates as well as acting as a pollinator for type 'B' varieties such as Bacon.
