Growing Guide Our deciduous bareroot fruit trees arrive from early Winter. Benefits of planting bare root is the size and maturity of the stock, offering larger trees that can establish more rapidly after winter dormancy breaks. Almonds tree is easy to grow and tolerates a range of conditions. Prefers a full sun position but will grow in partial shade, although less sun means fewer flowers and fruit. They thrive in rich soil but can tolerate almost any type of soil that is not too wet. The trees must have good drainage. *Dwarf requires staking.
